Across Canada, generations of systemic discrimination have left many Indigenous Nations facing ongoing challenges, from inadequate housing and food insecurity to mental health crises.
While steps are being taken to acknowledge this past and recognize critical rights, including the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action – more must be done. Hillcore is proud to be part of this new model for meaningful change.
