Sale of Kitchener grocery anchored retail property for $12.5 million

August 25, 2011 – Abacus Real Estate Investments sells 700-720 Westmount Road East in Kitchener for $12.5M to a leading pension fund manager. 700-720 Westmount is a 80, 203 square foot grocery anchored retail property. The property is anchored by a Freshco grocery store and has such other notable tenants as Dollarama, Tim Horton’s, Pet Valu and Dairy Queen. Abacus acquired the property as part of a portfolio purchase in November 2006.
